The SpineJack®procedure is one of several techniques currently used for the treatment of vertebral compression fractures (VCFs). The greatest advantage over other conventional techniques is that it allows the surgeon to anatomically reduce the vertebral body fracture in a totally controlled manner before stabilizing it, usually by using high viscosity cement.
The intravertebral SpineJack®, implant is intended on the onehand to restore a collapsed vertebral body after a fracture, and on the other to maintain this restoration until a stabilizing material is injected to permanently immobilize it.
Vexim’s main concern is to preserve the existing
structures and rely on it for the bone healing process.
Thereby depending on the quality of the preserved
trabecular structure acting as a scaffold, Vexim offers
a range of injectable Biomaterials for fixation.
Since the first vertebroplasty was performed 30 years ago, clinical knowledge based on scientific research has considerably improved. Vexim has contributed to this progress with the development of an effective and precise vertebroplasty solution.
