Among the many treatment options available to practitioners for the reduction of vertebral compression fractures, there are two percutaneous surgical techniques:

  • Anatomical restoration of the fractured vertebral body:
restoration of the coronal and sagittal profile and, most importantly, repositioning of the vertebral plate in the pre-trauma position, to restore the general biomechanical balance of the spine and the natural range of motion of the spinal joints.

  • Vertebroplasty:
pain reduction, local stabilization of the vertebral body to avoid all risk of collapse and restoration of physiological pressure around the disc.
